Masks? Social distancing? Bring it on, say Junior Titans!

Girls Junior Lacrosse of Poway held a successful Fall 2020 practice season last Sepetember & October.  Despite strict youth re-opening guidelines that included wearing masks on the field and social distancing whenever possible, about 30 girls gathered twice a week to perfect their stick skills, including catching, throwing, and ground balls.  Only three out of 18 San Diego Girls Lacrosse Association programs held a fall season, and Poway was one of them.

"We're doing it again this spring," said Program Manager Anastasia Farrell.  "SDGLA is moving forward under the premise that things will have recovered enough by mid-spring for us to hold games, and we've structured our practice plans accordingly." Their spring season starts February 2nd and will run through mid-May.  Practices for K-8 teams are Tuesdays & Thursdays 4 pm - 6 pm on Meadowbrook Middle School's turf field.
